Thomas N Wanat III, DMD, MSD

Dr. Wanat, the son of two Air Force Veterans, grew up in Eagle River, Alaska after his family was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in the 1990s. After graduating from Chugiak High School in 2005, he completed his bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry at Northern Arizona University in 2009. He went on to earn his DMD from Oregon Health and Science University in 2013. With his passion for surgery, Dr. Wanat completed a three-year residency in Periodontics and earned his Master of Science in Dentistry degree at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2016. During his time in residency, Dr. Wanat trained extensively in the treatment of periodontal disease, periodontal plastic surgery, dental implants, and IV conscious sedation. Dr. Wanat is Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery.

After completing their residencies in the lower 48, Dr. Wanat and his wife, who is also a dentist, moved back home to Alaska in 2016. They have two beautiful daughters together. Dr. Wanat enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, skiing, playing hockey, and enjoying the incredible outdoor activities that Alaska has to offer.

Chloé D. Broquet, DMD, MDSc

Dr. Broquet was born in Geneva, Switzerland, and moved to Connecticut with her mother and siblings in 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2018.

During her undergraduate studies, she spent the summer of 2017 in Antigua, Guatemala, providing dental care to underserved rural communities, thereby solidifying her passion for dentistry.

She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Connecticut in 2022, followed by a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Dental Science (M.D.Sc.) degree in 2025.

While in dental school, Dr. Broquet was recognized by the American Academy of Periodontology for her outstanding achievement in periodontics.

As part of her residency training, Dr. Broquet conducted research on the confidence levels of graduating dental students in diagnosing and treating infections around dental implants. Her clinical interests include the treatment of periodontal disease, gum and bone regeneration, and implant therapy.

Outside the office, Dr. Broquet enjoys exploring the great outdoors, playing soccer, and reading a Stephen King novel with her two cats, Flouf and Clicquot.
